Aalborg is an ancient city in the north of Denmark, on the side of the Limfjord, With a population of over 140,000 residents it’s a vibrant cultural hotspot with a spectacular waterfront an iconic architectural buildings. Stine Maria is a farmer who trained as a yoga teacher at Yasodhara Ashram (2020-22) and also participated in the Karma Yoga Programme in the Ashram’s garden and orchard, supplying the Ashram residents and guests with fresh organic food daily.

Stine Maria Birkeholm has been offering a combined class of Hidden Language Hatha and Kirtan since September 2022 at Yoga Huset, a community Yoga center in Aalborg. The past two years she has been involved with spiritual music in many ways, including monthly Kirtans and offering mantra-based concerts at elementary schools and home concerts. “It is just amazing to hear the voices of 150 kids sing Sharanam Ganesha together, and quite special how a home concert can uplift and deepen the quaility of the time spent together.”
Since 2025 Stine Maria has been working at a boarding school, teaching Hatha and growing food for the students while growing their relationship with the earth through their participation in the garden.
